Darren Half Marathon

Respect My Stuff are extremely honoured that veteran marathon runner, Darren Leaver, has chosen the charity as his nominated cause for this year’s Staffordshire Half Marathon on March 15th 2020.  Darren had hoped to be competing in the Tokyo Marathon but due to the recent Coronavirus outbreak, this has had to be postponed. We are happy Darren managed to find another event to help raise funds for our cause.

Darren is a senior director at Bionical-EMAS and passionate Chairman of Lichfield City FC.  He is also a veteran of several marathons including the gruelling Dubai Marathon often running alongside his brother, Andy, who Darren says is usually the one goading them into these challenges!

Respect My Stuff is a volunteer-driven charity. Our mission is simple. We provide young people entering foster care with a bag. Along with basic essentials and comfort items, this makes their transition into the foster care system and their circumstances just a little bit easier.

Please donate using the buttons below to support the charity and make Darren’s herculean efforts even more worthwhile.
